The Philippine athletics contingent to the 28th Southeast Asian Games is just a part of the 402 strong delegate that garnered 29 gold medals, 36 silver medals, 66 bronze medals for a 131 total medal haul. From among these, the track and field warriors contributed 21 medals with 5 golds, 7 silvers and 9 bronzes a big improvement to last SEA Games’ total of 13!
