Aiming to improve the financial literacy among Filipinos, the CFA Society Philippines, a non-profit professional membership organization of finance and investment practitioners, is organizing its first-ever fun run on February 23, 2014 at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
Entitled ‘Financial Fitness Run’, the fun run serves as the kick-off event of CFA’s investor awareness campaign for 2014. The society is capitalizing on the popularity of running as a sport to generate a broad-based heightened level of awareness of investor rights within the Filipino community.

“Running has always been a well-entrenched activity in the Philippines especially to those wanting to have a healthier lifestyle. And as part of our investor awareness campaign, the Financial Fitness Run not only encourages Filipinos to become physically fit but also increases awareness on financial management,” said Gavin Lee, Vice President of CFA Society Philippines.
Funds raised from the fun run will be used to support the Retail Investment Conference which will be part of the investor awareness campaign.
